Supplier Stock
Know when a part comes back in stock.
Watches supplier product pages and tells you the moment an item goes from out of stock to available.
Not on the Chrome Web Store yet. The listing goes live the day it is approved, and this page updates with it.
Who it is for
Anyone who loses jobs waiting on a supplier to restock.
What you get
- Stock state on the product pages you add
- Price changes on the same pages
- Quantity available where the supplier shows it
- Multiple suppliers for the same part
How it works
- Open the supplier product page.
- Click the extension to add the item.
- It re-checks on your schedule while your browser is open.
- You get a notification when the stock state changes.
What it does not do
It does not add to cart, place orders, or act on your account. It reads and reports.
Permissions
Every permission the extension asks for, and the reason for it. Nothing else is requested.
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
storage | Saves your searches, the items you are watching and the last result seen, so the extension can tell what is new. Stored locally in your browser. |
alarms | Schedules the background re-check on the interval you choose. Without it the extension could only check while you sat on the page. |
notifications | Shows a desktop notification when a watched page changes. No notification is sent anywhere else. |
activeTab | Reads the page you have open at the moment you click the extension icon, so it can save the search or item you are looking at. |
scripting | Reads the result list out of the page you saved. It only runs on the sites you added, and only to read. |
host permissions | Limited to the portal domains you add yourself. The extension does not request access to all sites. |
Pricing
Pricing set at launch
