Recorder Watch Privacy Policy

The short version
Recorder Watch runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no login and no server of mine involved. Nothing it reads is transmitted to me or to any third party.
Who operates this extension
Recorder Watch is developed and operated by Vishal Chopde, an independent software developer trading as vishalchopde.com.
What it collects
The searches and items you choose to watch, the sites you add them on, your check interval, and a copy of the last results seen so it can work out what changed. That is the whole list.
Where it is stored
In your browser, using Chrome extension storage. It stays on your machine unless you have Chrome profile sync switched on, in which case Chrome syncs it between your own devices under your own Google account. I have no access to it either way.
What is never collected
- Personally identifiable information
- Health, financial or authentication information
- Passwords, cookies or session tokens
- Your browsing history, or activity on sites you did not add
- Keystrokes, clicks or any other behavioural tracking
Permissions and why

scripting | Reads the result list out of the page you saved. It only runs on the sites you added, and only to read. |
host permissions | Limited to the portal domains you add yourself. The extension does not request access to all sites. |
Data sharing and sale
None. No data is sold, rented, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train models. The extension itself contains no analytics or tracking code. This website measures anonymous page traffic, which is separate from the extension and is never linked to anything the extension stores.
Deleting your data
Remove a watched item in the extension to delete it. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored. There is nothing held anywhere else to request the deletion of.
Compliance with Chrome Web Store policy
Recorder Watch's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data handling is limited to the extension's single purpose of re-checking the pages you have saved and telling you what changed.
Children
Recorder Watch is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If the extension ever starts handling data differently, this page is updated before that version ships, and the date at the top changes with it.
